We think you’ll love this conversation, it’s the best way to get to know the band, and the most in-depth interview Wild Heaven has granted.

Wild Heaven, described as “lawless, 90s-evocative alternative rock,” by KUTX’s Jack Anderson, reflects a “recent riot grrl” sound. The new album inspects the contradictions and acceptance of the roles played by American and Texan feminists in the 2020s.

From covering the shame of the arrival of the post-Roe era, to battling the fear of losing an unborn child, “I Need You” is a dynamic and emotional ride that explores lost love, female resentment, and the healing journey and acceptance of new love and motherhood.

The album was recorded by Matt Parmenter of Ice Cream Factory Studios, recent winner of The Austin Chronicle Music Awards for the “Best Recording Studio” category. It was mastered by Eric Conn of Independent Mastering in Nashville, Tennessee. It will be available on vinyl in August 2024 from Gotta Groove Records in Cleveland, Ohio.
